Step-by-step explanation:

4x-3=2x-13

Subtract

4x−3−2x=−13

Simplify

2x−3=−13

Add 3 to both sides

2x=−13+3

Simplify again

2x=-10

Divide both sides by 2

x=[tex]-\frac{10}{2}[/tex]

Simplify one last time

x=-5
